ClearClose Now Offers Client Text Reminders for Real Estate Transactions

Real estate transactions come with a long list of dates: deadlines, inspections, appraisals, walkthroughs, and closing details.

For clients, it can be a lot to keep track of.

For agents, it often means answering the same question repeatedly: “What happens next?”

That is exactly why ClearClose was built. ClearClose helps real estate professionals keep clients informed from contract to closing, and now clients can choose to receive text message reminders in addition to email reminders.

Real estate text reminders are now live in ClearClose

ClearClose can now send automatic text reminders for important transaction milestones after the client completes the SMS opt-in process. This gives agents another way to keep clients informed without manually sending reminders every time a deadline approaches.

If you already use real estate transaction reminder software to keep email reminders on schedule, text reminders work the same way — automatically, before each key date.

Clients can receive reminders for milestones such as:

  • inspections
  • appraisal-related dates
  • due diligence or contingency deadlines
  • walkthroughs
  • closing dates
  • other transaction milestones created by the agent

The goal is simple: your clients always know what's next.

Clients choose whether they want text reminders

ClearClose does not automatically enroll clients in text messaging just because an agent enters a phone number. The client controls the process.

When SMS is available for their transaction, the client can open their private ClearClose transaction timeline and choose to enroll in text reminders. The process works like this:

  • The client enters or confirms their mobile number from their private transaction timeline.
  • The client agrees to receive transaction-related text reminders.
  • ClearClose sends a verification message.
  • The client replies YES to confirm.
  • Text reminders are activated for that transaction.

Clients can reply STOP at any time to opt out. This keeps the process clear for both the agent and the client.

Email and text can work together

Email is still an important part of client communication for real estate agents. But people do not always check email immediately. A short text reminder can be especially helpful when an inspection, walkthrough, deadline, or closing date is getting close.

With ClearClose Pro and Team plans, agents can use:

  • email reminders
  • text reminders
  • or both email and text

That gives agents more flexibility while keeping the client communication process simple.

Quiet hours are built in

Automated text reminders should not be waking clients up in the middle of the night. ClearClose includes quiet-hours protection for automated milestone reminders. If a reminder would otherwise be sent during the client's quiet-hours window, it is held and delivered later instead.

ClearClose also uses Twilio messaging safeguards as an additional compliance layer for SMS delivery.

Why text reminders matter in real estate

Clients usually do not think about a transaction the same way an agent does. An agent may be tracking a dozen deadlines across multiple transactions. The client may only know that they signed a contract and closing is several weeks away. The days in between can feel confusing.

Clear communication helps reduce that uncertainty. Instead of relying on the client to remember every date, ClearClose can help keep important milestones visible throughout the transaction.

That can mean:

  • fewer “What happens next?” calls
  • fewer missed reminders
  • less manual follow-up
  • a more professional client experience
  • better communication from contract to closing

Built for working real estate professionals

ClearClose was built by a working real estate broker who wanted a simpler way to keep clients informed throughout the transaction.

It is not designed to replace your CRM, document system, or calendar. Many agents still rely on CRM reminders or a Google Calendar setup for parts of their workflow — and ClearClose is built to complement those tools, not replace them.

Instead, ClearClose focuses on one important part of the transaction: helping everyone understand what is happening next.

Agents can upload a contract, identify important transaction dates, create milestones, and let ClearClose help handle the reminder process. Now, those reminders can reach clients by both email and text.

Try ClearClose
